ABOUT

四万十川水系の最上流「滑床渓谷」には手つかずの大自然が広がる。滑床渓谷は、地下深部から貫入してきた花崗岩と、四万十帯の岩石が熱変成してできたホルンフェルスが分布する。その特異な地質から「奇跡の軟水」と言われる柔らかい水が育まれる。この地で育まれた多種多様な動植物は豊かな水に恵まれ、独自の生態系をつくり、その営みを今に続けている。
森の国水際の Camp-Us は、滑床渓谷の森の中で暮らすように滞在できるエコビレッジレジデンス。森におじゃまするように、森に溶けこみ、森の鼓動にあわせた暮らしがここにあります。

Nametoko Gorge lies in the uppermost reaches of the Shimanto River System, where unspoiled nature still reigns. The geology here combines granite from deep underground and hornfels created by thermal metamorphism of the Shimanto Belt’s igneous rock. As a result, the water in the region has a soCness that has been called miraculous, and supports a unique and diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna that still thrives today.
Mori-no-Kuni Riverside Camp-us is an ecovillage residence within the Nametoko Gorge forest. Here you can live as a guest of the forest, embracing its vitality and moving to the rhythms of its heartbeat.
